From inspiration to impact

Our Impact

Across our inaugural year, the Di Jameson Family Foundation Trust is supporting young people, emerging creators, and professional artists across Australia — with a strong emphasis on equity (young women & gender diverse) emerging composers, access, and regional inclusion.

Investing in Musical Futures

Supporting Musicians

Over the past year, DJFF funding has helped emerging performers, composers, and educators take the next step in their careers — from first performances and recordings to international collaborations and residencies.

Having real musicians bring your compositions to life is an extraordinary experience. Ideas move off the page and suddenly breathe with colour and nuance. I’ve seen students’ confidence soar as their creativity unfolds in front of engaged audiences, friends and peers. It changes everything.

Advancing music education and community outreach

Strengthening Organisations

Our grants help music schools, festivals, and community ensembles expand access, strengthen their programs, and reach new audiences.

Through its partnership with the Australian Festival of Chamber Music’s Pathways Program, DJFF is the founding supporter of the new Pathways Pre-Tertiary stream delivered in collaboration with Musica Viva’s Strike a Chord. This dedicated investment expands access for younger musicians, creating structured early-stage pathways toward artistic excellence in regional Australia.

Building Community & Access

We believe music belongs to everyone.
By funding inclusive initiatives, we ensure that young people from diverse backgrounds have the opportunity to participate and contribute to Australia’s cultural life.
