Musica Viva Australia – Strike A Chord
Recognising the importance of nurturing young musicians through ensemble performance, the Di Jameson Family Foundation is supporting Musica Viva Australia’s Strike A Chord through a three-year partnership. The national program provides secondary school students with opportunities to develop their musical skills, confidence and love of chamber music while expanding access for regional, remote and First Nations communities.
Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Music Education Program (2027–2029)
Building on a shared commitment to music education and community engagement, the Di Jameson Family Foundation is supporting the expansion of Melbourne Chamber Orchestra’s Music Education Program through a three-year partnership. The initiative will create new opportunities for children, young people and communities across metropolitan and regional Victoria to engage with live music and professional musicians.
The Australian Festival of Chamber Music (AFCM)
The Australian Festival of Chamber Music, with the support of the Di Jameson Family Foundation is expanding its Pathways Program to give outstanding secondary-school chamber ensembles an immersive, fully funded experience at the Festival in Cairns-Gimuy. This initiative opens the door to professional mentoring, performance, and real-world insight into collaborative chamber music at a formative stage.
The Melbourne Chamber Orchestra’s Storytellers Program: Wurrtoo!
With the support of the Di Jameson Family Foundation, Melbourne Chamber Orchestra is expanding its Storytellers Program: Wurrtoo! to bring First Nations-led music, storytelling, and live performance to children and communities across Victoria, particularly in disadvantaged and regional areas.
Australian Young Composer Program: nurturing emerging composers
The Australian Young Composer Program, supported by the Di Jameson Family Foundation is launching a national pilot that gives high-school composers the rare opportunity to develop new orchestral works through mentoring, live readings, performance, and professional recording.
State Opera South Australia’s Resident & Emerging Artists Program
With the support of the Di Jameson Family Foundation, State Opera South Australia is launching its first Resident & Emerging Artists Program, creating new professional pathways for early-career opera artists while strengthening music education and performance across South Australia.
